Obika Mozzarella Bar
Obika mozzarella bar right next to my office and hard to pass up. They offer fast service and fresh food. And a bonus-- If you work in the IBM building like me you get 10% off!
Lasagna and gazpacho-- highly recommended.

Armani restaurant
Amazing new discovery-the restaurant above the Armani store on 5th avenue. It is not some little cafe with trays-it's a beautiful romantic space overlooking the busy street. I will definitely be going back...Even just for the bread.
I had the pear salad, crab gazpacho (compliments of the chef), and vegetable lasagna-- all titles in much fancier Italian.

Fish Restaurant
280 Bleecker Street #4 New York, NY 10014
Fish Homepage
Jon had been craving crab legs for about 2 months. His schedule finally let up so we decided to check out Jeffreys Grocery. Sadly, they were out of crab legs. We frantically searched on yelp to try and find another fish spot. We were on a mission. Finally we found a highly rated place called Fish. We had heard of it before but the line was always out the door and it looked a little touristy. It was 11:30 on a Tuesday so we figured we would be ok. This place is amazing. It looked like an old fisherman's bar. Jon ordered the King Crab Legs- 1 1/4 pound Alaskan King Crab, 2 sides-creamed spinach and fries - all for $34.00! Amazing for NY.
I ended up having the Lobster roll which was equally incredible. We will definitely be going here again- just not on a Saturday afternoon :)
